Last Friday we had our first multi-team event, with 2 groups from Bucks New University competing simultaneously. It was fantatsic fun and the Pentathlon activity at the end was a very close fought race-against-the-clock.
The Wild Bucks Team came out on top… just.
They take 2nd place on the overall Leaderboard.

We are making final preparations for a multi-team Missenden Games Event scheduled for later this week.
It’s all going swimmingly, despite a couple of logistical challenges – like an issue with adjusted event timings and the more pressing problem of there being a Wedding on the same day, at the same time in our venue. It’s probably best that our Missenden Games Event doesn;t spoil their big day !
Following yesterday’s heatwave (and today’s flood), we’ve created a new set of prices which will apply across the whole of the Summer – until further notice.

We’ve been doing some clever thinking here at “Missenden Games HQ” … OK, perhaps it’s just “thinking”.
We’re adapting the running order for the Event so as to maximise the interaction between the team members from the outset.
If you haven’t taken part yet, this won’t make any sense.
However, Super Hoops has been promoted and will now take a starring role – based on feedback from existing customers who said it was their favourite actiivty.

The team from the Kings Hotel in Stokenchurch took part in The Missenden Games in early June 2011.

We have commissioned bespoke medals for The Missenden Games. Everyone that takes part in the Event gets presented with a medal. No doubt it’ll take pride of place back at work ! Here’s a snap of the prototype.

It may come as no surprise that we can’t guarantee that your Missenden Games Event takes place in glorious sunshine and you have to be served chilled drinks while you tackle the challenges.
Therefore, we have taken it upon ourselves to add a couple of “wet-weather” alternatives to the mix. If it’s raining outside and we can’t (safely) run the Obstacle Course activity – then you get to try your luck at Medal Rostrum… indoors, in the warm, with tea and coffee readily available. Hope that’s OK with you ?
