What are The Missenden Games ?

“The Missenden Games” is a teambuilding challenge event.

The challenge for your team is to tackle 5 separate team activities within 2 hours.
(or if you’re pushed for time, try the Mini-Missenden Games – 3 activities in 1 hour only)

The activities have been specifically designed to test a variety of team and individual skills – but in a light-hearted and fun way;

  • Communication
  • Problem solving
  • Creativity
  • Leadership and planning
  • Co-operation and trust

The team themselves must decide who is best suited to carry out each of the challenges during the Event. There are no maximum or minimum numbers for any activity, so part of the “test” is deciding how many people and who should take on each of the challenges.  Some of the activities can (and do) happen simultaneously so teamwork really is an essential element here !

The Missenden Games is ideally suited to teams of between 4-8 people, but larger groups can still take part, making for an even more “competitive” event.

The Missenden Games takes place at Missenden Abbey Conference Centre in Buckinghamshire.  The activities all take place outdoors on the beautiful lawns at Missenden Abbey.

In the event of poor weather, some activities can be run indoors with no change to the event whilst others are exchanged for similar challenges more suitable to an indoor environment.

Happy Customers…

Here is a batch of nice things that our customers have said about The Missenden Games
— Richard Lambert, Morale Solutions

What was good was the mix of mind games, things you could do inside and the physical things outside... and the fact that you have to organise yourselves was really quite challenging
— Ellie Smith, Bucks New University
